Taffer Consulting tasked this with a multi-phase approach. We started with a research & assessment phase in which 3 test pilot locations were selected. During this phase, we conducted multiple secret shopping programs as well as demographic and marketing analysis. This helped us further solidify the missing elements in the beverage program. In the next phase we created, branded and implemented unique signature cocktails for the Famous Dave’s corporate tasting panel. Beer, wine and soft drink merchandising was also rebranded and implemented in a new way. Moving into the next phase, our mixologist team trained the teams at the pilot locations. Bartenders, Service Staff and Managers were trained in this process, which included sales techniques, product knowledge and how to make the new cocktails. We then moved into our follow up phase for the next 2 months, which included weekly updates with the General Managers at each location. After both Taffer Consulting and Famous Dave’s were satisfied with the early phases we then rolled the new beverage program out corporate wide. The rollout included all training material and bespoke videos made exclusively for this. The final phase was letting the public new through our widespread PR and Social Media outlets.
