The Vegas Golden Knights very own Nate Schmidt joins the podcast. Schmidt has become an NHL regular after first attracting the interests of the Washington Capitols who signed him as a free agent in 2013. Nate split his first two seasons playing for the Caps and Hershey of the AHL. Schmidt stuck with the Capitols for good in 2015-16 but that all changed when he was selected by the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft. The Minnesota native then went on to help lead the Golden Knights to the Stanley Cup Playoffs during the 2017-18 season.
