A Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant server performed a gesture of thanks to honor a service woman and her late brother, a fallen soldier who was killed in Iraq.
Brian Avery, the server at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Tacoma, Washington wrote on Facebook that a woman came to the restaurant by herself and ordered a Blue Moon and a Corona. As a policy, Avery told the woman he could only serve her one beer at a time. The woman explained that “the Corona was for her brother who died in Iraq and I won’t be drinking it.”
Avery got her both drinks and left the Corona next to her at an empty seat. Buffalo Wild Wings paid for the beer and kept the beer on display next to an American flag in honor of the fallen soldier.
An amazing act of kindness for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country…we thank you.
