Things got serious at The Alibi Room on the last season of Shameless. In case you missed it — and if you did, we highly suggest you go back and watch because it was just that good, Kev and V realize they mistakenly signed the bar over to Svetlana when they lent their signatures to what they thought were adoption papers. So now, in true Shameless fashion, s–t is hitting the fan.

Fortunately, the Fishers have come up with an alternate plan: They called in the one and only Jon Taffer from Bar Rescue. But it turns out, there are some disasters even the master himself can’t fix — check out the video to see how it all went down in the South Side!

Shameless is returning Nov. 5 for the show’s eighth season — and Kev and V aren’t the only ones who are exploring a whole new mess of obstacles! Some of the highlights of last season include an emotional storyline for Frank after Monica returned — along with the heavy news that she is dying. Everyone’s hero, Fiona, had some incredible growth as both a character and an entrepreneur as she comes into her own as a small business owner. Debbie — with the help of her mother — fought to get her daughter back after her baby daddy’s family kidnapped her, and Ian and Lip both, of course, found new love interests.

And from the looks of the trailers, we are going to be in for one heck of a ride when Shameless returns next month! Can’t wait!
